As much as I'm made up for McRae lets keep things in perspective, the top three drivers in the world, Loeb, Gronholm and Solberg have all crashed out so that would put him fifth if they were still around.

You also have to take into account that Ford are running the 2006 Focus that has a passive front diff so is slower than the others.

Needless to say McRae is driving the wheels off a medocre car.
