Does the Columbus Navi unit have a video aux-in connection?

Featured Replies

While perusing cheap dashcams for my wife's car (I'm already set in that department) I found this model:

now, one of the pictures supplied with this ad shows a navigation unit that seems a whole lot like a Columbus unit being connected to said dashcam with a yellow video aux connector.

That's an interesting feat... if it's true for the Columbus supplied on the current MK3 Octavia's. I can't find anything on it through google or the manual.

Can anyone shed some light on this? I might be a cool feature to playback the Dashcam material on the video unit in the car.

Well that could very well be of course, hence my question, as I've never opened a Columbus before and am not planning to unless for a very good reason.

I doubt that would be legal, as the video footage would fall into the same category as a film, any device that can display that sort of media normally has the feature disabled once road speed exceeds a certain value.
