I plan to buy a 1.2 tsi DSG Yeti when I return to UK; but apparently there may be a 1.4 tsi in the offing. Does anyone know if this is true and if so when it might happen?

They already do one in the L&K but I wouldn't hold your breath as regards putting it in the rest of the range.

 

Never say never, but as the current Yeti is coming to the end of it's life I doubt that they will bother.

You will be fine, all timing chain and DSG problems are well sorted out now unlike the new ZF 9 speed auto used in virtually every other makes cars

Thank you, Spaldi01- It can be a bit like reading a medical encyclopedia; suddenly you fear you've got everything. I would like a 1.4 for the extra speed though, but it doesn't seem to come in automatic anyway.
