Mine misted up alot overnight... but now leave the vents set to Screen/Feet and it stays clear... something to do with the car breathing easier... certainly works

I concur with his solution, I also think it is a VW problem across the board as i have been looking and it seems common in VAG cars :D

Constantly! and along with that fault and a few others that cropped up straight after the warranty ran out I got sooo pi$$ed off  with having to sit in the car with air con on full blast for 15mins to clear the screen everytime I got in my car :thumbdwn: that I decided to get rid and buy something different :D hence the new signature!

Yeah- big time!

I've got this problem just now.

Only noticed it with all the rain here in sunny Scotland recently!!

The windscreen was constantly misting up- i mean soaking wet- and took ages to de-mist with aircon on. Was out with a passenger in the back last week and when he got out i saw mould/mildew growing in the rear passenger footwell

On investigation the mat and carpet were soaked- press your finger in to see a wee pool of water! On opening the door after rain there is water sittting on the seals of both rear doors and its managing to get in this way somehow.

Phoned the garage to get it fixed (under warranty)- going in Monday, apparently for three days while they, 1. figure out what the problem is, 2. fix the problem and 3. make sure it stays fixed before i get it back.

Hope it gets sorted coz i'm getting bored of having to go out and soak up water with towels in the meantime:grumpy:

I'll let u all know what the result is.

Ahh, my earlier posts were in ignorance. Both the rear footwells are soaking wet...the windscreen has water on the inside, and the rear screen then becomes a swimming pool when the sun comes out. So, my Fabia, had knackered brakes from new, it creaks, and now it leaks as well. WTF! :thumbdwn:
