Octavia vrs and back pain

Featured Replies

Does anybody else have problems with back pain due to the pedals being offset to the right? I've had back problems in the past and had an operation 3 years ago for a herniated disc. It's not caused me much problems since, but after getting my mk3 vrs I'm April it's been getting worse and worse again. Had a few long drives recently and it's left me in agony. I'm gutted, I think I'm going to have to take the financial hit and change my car. I bloody love the car as well, but I'm sure it's trying to cripple me.

I've had mine a week and I'm already moaning to my wife about how the pedals feel weird. It's mainly that as I have long legs I can't get my right leg into a position that doesn't give me cramp or make my lower back ache, so its not just you....

It's not so much the offset for me, but how close they are, even with the seat back and steering wheel adjusted. Keep fiddling, you can definitely make it better.

To start with I always felt I was leaning on the left side of the seat. It wasn't until I was driving my wifes car (skoda rapid) that I realised how far off my pedals sit. Anyone want to buy a metal grey vrs estate? Lol

Didn't even notice they were offset

Ill start the bidding at four pounds twenty six, a pack of wine gums, and a button.

I'll keep that bid in mind. It will probably be more appealing than what the garages will offer.

And undoubtedly more than we buy any car.
