Featured Replies

Hi Everyone

I'm new to Briskoda.....so go easy on me !!

The original exhaust on my VRS is finally coming to the end of its life after 104,000 miles and i wondered which Stainless system is best for my car?

thanks for your help

Andy

I had one fitted to my 406 coupe by MIJ in Walsall. Did a great job and tuned just how I wanted it

Sent from my Galaxy S5

Miltek?

thanks everyone. Ill check out prices from a local dealer.

Andy since you're in Derby you'd be mad not to pop over to JP Exhausts at Maccklesfield. Without doubt the best custom exhaust builders I've come across. They're mainly in the competition motor sector but also do road cars built to sound how you want but with their experience of getting performance too all built with top notch welding and choice of mild or stainless steel.

When you go over and see what their customers are trusting them to work on you know they have built a reputation on more than just joining pipes together

Check longlife too if you have one local. If you're just after a decent like for like replacement rather than a noisy thing, they are very good and cheaper than Miltec etc.

+1 for Longlife. Dunno if they still are, but when I got my Golf done it was also guaranteed for as long as you own the car, regardless of when or where it was fitted.

Thanks guys but the nearest dealer is either Northampton or Birmingham :-(

Longlife are just a franchise welding various shaped tubes together to fit. Making it of stainless steel virtually guarantees the life of it The same thing with Powerflow with so much variation in quality even though they are using the same stock pieces.
