As opposed to having to manually adjust it down and back up 100 per cent of the time?

I never adjust it down anymorei have become familiar with the size of my vehicle

Can I check with anyone with a MY16 vrs that they have the option for Driver Activity Sensor? I have checked 2 other cars.

2013 vrs has the option

MY16 SE L has the option

MY16 vRS (mine) NO Option :(

Have you made any vcds changes to your car?

nope as delivered

VCDS changes haven't stopped it working unless you have been directly deleting data from the CAN Gateway. Ask your dealer for a full option code print out, if it has EM0 as an option then it was built without it, if it has EM1 then it should have left the factory with the correct data loaded to the CAN Gateway.

Ianholm it's time to let's this go, it's becoming an obsession. It's not even that useful a feature.

Dealer can print it out, the full list of build codes. You can remove the menu from the MIB unit, but I wouldn't bother.

Ok. Not in a hurry to get it looked at but will take a look next time I speak with Domhnall or the dealer. (noticed it's on variable servicing instead of fixed too which I will need to get looked at)

My question about removing the option from MIB2 was more about what I would need to check to get it back in the see if it would work, but as you say probably not worth the hassle and I would not imagine that useful anyway.

I found also today that I cannot check the Driver Alert System from the menu anymore.

From factory this option was active. But not when check it says that the system cannot be activated.

I did next coding:

- Activate Cornering fogs and Changing the upper speed threshold for cornering fogs

- Driving mode display on maxidot(I disabled after few days because no menu appears .. I do not have DCC so and I think this is for DCC)

- Enabling fan (blower) speed display in AUTO mode

- Enabling passenger mirror dip on selecting reverse

Did someone find out if those coding affect the Driver Alert System or maybe I do have a malfunction?

I'm back after 30 min. Try a new scan and clear all DTC and seems that the option could be checked again..... also I changed my menu language to english (but this have no sense to affect the functionality) ....who knows
