04 superb sat nav

Featured Replies

Hi, My dad just brought an 04 superb literally today. It has a tape deck and cd auto changer but he wants to change it to a in built sat nav system that plays cds and from his iPhone etc.

Does anyone know what systems are compatible so he can still use all his steering wheels controls and bonus if can link to the aready installed cd auto changer.

Sorry if this is been asked before and got any responses.

Probably more work than it is worth trying to fit the factory system.

No one here has reported working steering controls with a 3rd party head unit.

Eastbourne??!!  :sun:

I've got the old xcarlink unit that plugged into the back of the DX on my Superb if anyone can make use of it. Connected my 5th gen iPod up to the DX and the back and forward bits stilll worked on the MFSW.  The small round connector on one of the earth's snapped off as I undid it (very fine wire) but I don't think that's a problem.
