noise from rear of car

been noticing a weird annoying sound  from the back of the ocatvia2 1.1lk kms ,from about a month ,increases esp wen it falls in a pit or badroads

 

p.s ; i have done full suspension repair new bushings etc  a yr ago 

 

took it to the

the local mech says it due to worn off caliper pins .

 

he put greasing and tried adjusting the play ,but problem seems to me existng

he s asking me to change the caliber pins.

guys pls telle me whether doing that will solve the issue or should i change the whole caliper which would get me broke :p

The question here is whether or not the caliper pins are worn. The only way to answer this is to measure their diameter several times along their length, and at least twice on different diameter lines at each point.

 

If this proves the pins to be worn, then new ones should quieten the rattle.
