hi all,

gonna try and change my CTS at the weekend in the vain hope it might improve my cold start jumpiness...

Part number i have is: 059-919-501A (green) ive been quoted 24 euros + vat for it froma local vw dealer...

I just wanna check that its a universal VAG part that should work on the vRS?

thats the very same i changed on mine,just above the gear selector,the one i removed had an orange connector(iirc) replacement has green.has improved the cold start problem,but not resolved it completely.and by cold i mean winter cold starts,its pretty much ok during the rest of the year.

gees this thing really varies in price, the yanks reckon on 4-7$, im looking at 30 Euros and you guys are around 30 sterling...

top tip from an idiot.

make sure the coolant is cold first :o it stings i tell thee
