  • The early 1970s 312B carried entrant stickers for all 3 for the appropriate national races.

  • Button will be a McLaren Honda driver next season.

  • Keep up mate.   KMag was released on October 16th, and Jenson signed up for next year some time before that.

Oooo ty can keep up to date now :-)

Well, it's clear enough from that just who's coats are on the shoogly pegs!

If the whole Renault thing goes through I can see Crashtor there for long, Renaults link up with Total will surely be in conflict with PDVSA?

anyone else subscribe to GP+ by Joe Saward and others

I think it was either in there, or in Joe's blog that they were saying a  "Renault" team would have enough money from sponsors and selling engines to others that they wouldn't  need Maldonado's dosh and they would find someone else to partner Grosjean

can't remember who they were suggesting though.

Sauber re-signed their 2 a  few weeks back.

Yes you are correct, I missed it off when searching. I've updated first post.

Even with a contract I am wondering if Alonso will stop there, if no substantial improvements at McLaren ?

There's nowhere else to go. Top 3 teams are full, can't see RBR dumping Kvyat now he's going so well.

Yes, Alonso would have to give up on F1 and find something else, go and play with Webber ?

Who could afford him in WEC? Toyota couldn't afford to build a competitive car this year to defend their titles, let along pay a multiple word champion to drive it.

I'm pleased Williams kept their current line-up. As Bottas said, it means they can concentrate on next years car.

The only rear wildcards i suppose are going to be the Ferra, errr, i mean Haas team. Will they bring American talent in, or someone from Ferrari's young driver program?

Guerreri is favourite I think.

Maybe Alexander Rossi.

Outside bet (for marketing reasons) - Danica.

Is the haas team going to be the toro rosso to red bull, with ferrari?

They have all mechanicals coming from Ferrari, and they are doing all their aero design in Ferraris wind tunnel.

So a Ferrari B-team of sorts - much like NART used to be in sportscars.

Except that there won't be a Maranello Concessionaires team, or an Ecurie Francorchamps one...

True but I can't remember the UK or Belgian importer team entering the works cars for a GP. NART did.

Cool

In USA / Mexico '64 they were painted in NART colours to win the world championship.

Unhelpfully (in this context) MC actually ran in "retail red" much like Ferrari SPa, but EF (and Ecurie Nationale Belgie) ran in Gaillo Fly.

Works Ferrari F1 cars painted Yellow?

I recall a sharknose in ENB yellow, but I though it was a genuine privateer thing.

Gene Haas today

"No rookie drivers"

"One of Ferrari's reserves will drive, plus another current F1 driver."

Thats Danica out, and Rossi,or Scott Speed (most recent US F1 driver)

Good news for Guerreri or JEV though.

Alex Rossi about to qualify as a "current F1 driver" (see above)

Someone is paying for him to do 5 races at Manor this year.

My guess is this is a try-out for Haas (to have an American driver is important for them I think)

Lotus resign Maldonado('s money).
