Bet they're hopeful of an engine in it.

  • Keep up mate.   KMag was released on October 16th, and Jenson signed up for next year some time before that.

Funny how Ron started the sabbatical rumour when questioned by the press, then denied it later when Fernando got the hump.  Is Dennis trying to push him out?

I think most people were surprised Ron took him back after last time.

I don't think he'll ever fit at McLaren and it'll be better for everyone if he leaves because he isn't interested in developing a car. He wants to jump into a winner

KMag better keep an eye on his emails...

I would think Stoffel vandoorne will get the nod if Alonso goes, Learns very fast and Jenson is a good mentor figure

If I read between lines, I'd be letting Alonso go to wec or the beach for a season, bring in a rookie to dev car for another year, then come back to a winning seat. So protecting your asset by not making him suffer again.

Then in 2017 cycle JB out and 'talent' in under FA.

Developing a slow car isn't really a rookie job - Honda talked McLaren into keeping Jenson instead of KMag twice didn't they?

I think Ron's recent show of support for Jenson might well have been based in an idea that Fernando might not stay - after all Ron has never obviously rated JB has he?
