PID auto day / night mode

Featured Replies

Hi all, the wifes pid won't change over from day mode to night mode on the sat nav, even though it is set to automatic.

Any ideas?

On a side note, what a fun car, just love chucking it about and listening to that happy little 3pot singing away!

Thanks in advance.

Mine also doesn't want to change from day to night (or vice versa) automatically. Is there a setting somewhere we are missing???

Do you have the auto feature enabled?

Should be navigation

other

settings

then somewhere in there there's the option for day/night auto

Yeah, auto is selected but it does not want to change over at all..... strange.

Try a hard reset? Hold down the power button till the screen goes blank and let it do its thing

Mine never did either :(

I seem to remember there being a setting for daytime level and night level. If they are not set different, the brightness won't change.

I've just set mine to auto. Will be interesting to see if it work!

Brightness on day mode max, brightness on night mode min, set to auto and still no change..... with a few people already saying theirs doesn't change over I suspect that none of them do!

Not sure where we would stand with skoda on this one, after all a massive distraction at night if it doesn't change over automatically........

Do it manually I suppose but that's just silly when there is a function there that doesn't work. I guess it's a Garmin problem?
