Had a problem with the locking mechanism that I have now fixed... after standing back proud of the work I've done and gone to try and close the boot the side locks are stuck as if it's in normal boot mode but I'm actually in hatch mode... as a result I cannot get the boot to close at all :(

 

I have tried to trick the boot into thinking it's in boot mode thinking they might pop out, but they don't..

 

 

Really need some help on this one as I'm stuck with my boot open until it's fixed.

Okay, panic over.   I have resolved the issue.

 

For future reference and for anyone else that has the same problem, the resolution is to hit the microswitch under the boot latch at the bottom and to hold the right button under the boot (to switch to hatch mode) for 2 seconds, the side locks will pop back out like they should.
