The knob on the dash to diretc the airflow in the car wont go fully to the top. see in the image below  i can when turned to the left or right it only gets to about 30 degrees of the top. 

Im 99% sure it went to the top last week but before i ring the garage, can someone confirm that in their rapid, the knob can turn fully to the top.

Yes, I can confirm... You should turn it all over 360 deg...

Yes, as above the knob should turn 360 degrees in either direction. Recommend you take the car back to your dealer and have the heather controls replaced under warranty ASAP.

It that an Auld Scottish cure - if you cant get your knob up use the lucky heather...

Does it go around in the other direction. mine done this it was the cable behind the knob its a long spring like a drain unblocker with a plastic end that clips to the knob. Mine slipped so the vents shut half way so when i turned the knob it only went half way like yours. all the dealer done was pull the cable off so the vents closed turned the knob to cold the reattached the cable

Car now back with the dealer with the dash removed. Seems a cable used for opening and closing the vents is tangled around something. Got a high spec fabia for the weekend. Wish i didnt as it makes me dislike the rapid a lot more!
