Does anyone know if I can upgrade to the Amunden or Columbus Sat Nav system after I have purchased a Skoda Octavia or does it have to be Factory fitted, thanks

Factory fitted only in the UK. There are specialists in Eastern Europe selling genuine retro fit units if you fancy taking the risk.

There was this danish(?) guy who just got a Columbus retrofitted. You could try to find his post. It was within the last 4-5 days he posted it.

A friend of ours bought a Superb recently without sat nav and he says they got it retrofitted. I can ask him who did it but he did say it was about £800 IIRC...

The unit in the mk3 is different from the units in the MK2 superbs.

There are 2 or 3 different retro fitters in Denmark... vagcars.dk and cartrends.dk

That was me. And yes I can confirm that I have a retrofitted Columbus satnav unit in my MY14 Elegance that originally was equipped with Bolero.
