My new badger-wagen engine has been mapped now, by mike @ Jabba.

1900 motor, largeport (ported) cylinder head, badger5/supertech valves, chromoly rods, 83mm JE pistons, Pe18020 turbo, 3" DP, dual Plenum intake manifold, balanced etc

Still got my 2.5" exhaust on it which is stupid on my part. so 3" is next on list to do, to remove the choking effect its having. Well pleased with the result tho, and looks well sorted on the plot. Collect it tonight and I cant wait.... Been a long time planning and coming, but its here now.

Should be fun racing it at Castle Combe in next year's saloon car c'ship.

I like the new style dyno plot from Jabba. Looks less colourful but more detailed. Hopfeully I'll be pushing a similar NM soon.

J...Bill's done a b&w copy/scan...but the new style plots do look more precise.

I think Bill's graph is a scan of a fax given he hasn't been to Jabba yet and also it has jabba's fax number across the top edge of the sheet.

Do you think the large some of money you stumped up to jabba for about 60 hp was worth it.???? should have gone gt 3071 with your 1900cc.

First class, bolt in a passanger seat if your going to Kames this year PLESASE.

I'm confused though, I thought you were a CC dealer, and that you'd have tried that map, or is it just for final tweeking.

Bill's also a REVO dealer.

Bill's Ibiza is a Jabba setup car so it makes sense for them to map it. His Lupo was done by JBS so they mapped that.

I would think that if Bill were to have a CC map on his Ibiza it would be an unnecessary slap in the face for Jabba who have always looked after Bill's Ibiza and know the car well.

Dont want a garrett GT30... want good response and spool characteristics... and I know a GT30 can give me higher numbers, but at the end of the day this cars has more power than traction now. 120mph 4th gear wheelspin in the dry, any more power is kinda pointless.

I am down the IHI path on other hardware so evolution to PE was worth a gamble.

I know what your saying tho.. some GT30's can have good spool, initial boost, but I cant see them being as responsive on any of them I have seen on track. - More power than I have, but a compromise (for me and my spec, which this is essentially) for what is to be a race car @ Castle Combe circuit.

A couple of fellow competitors next year are running GT30's so we will have to see what transpires. 1m17s laps in mine before the new motor from 343bhp, so I am hoping to be no slower with the 410bhp motor & greater torque and power spread in 2006 season. 1m17s laps being top 3 times this year. (pole)

Jabba built my engine, Jabba mapped my engine. Keeps things simple.
