Three years old. MOT time

Chose to have test carried out by Skoda dealer. No issues. They changed a rear offside indicator bulb due to flaking orange paint FOC (and changing bulbs in the estate read clusters is a pain) and cleaned the car. All in £39, and have a good look round the new Superb too.

Mine is due November, don't envisage any problems.

Ordered a new one yet?

Hi Coops - no, I tend to keep cars for about 7 years. We have two cars in the family  - big and little - and this year has been the little one; a three month old 15 reg SEAT Leon 1.2TSi 110 SE Tech Pack with 20 miles on the clock. It's a bloomin' marvel!

The new Superb is very impressive, but I don't have any professional basket ball players in the family to benefit from the even greater rear legroom!

It's four years in Ireland before regular passenger cars are first tested under the NCT (same as MOT). Every two years after that up to ten years old and then every year after ten years. More things to go wrong after four years I suppose
