Hi all, Looking into buying VCDS from one of the UK approved suppliers but don't know which one is the right one to get. VCDS Micro Can, Premium VCDS Kit or VCDS Hex+ Can USB.. Any advice,  Thanks.

 

Basically:

 

Micro-CAN... only good for full CAN based cars (so MKI Fabia, MKI Superb, MKI Octavia, MK4 Golf etc it’s not suitable)

HEX+CAN... will work on everything

HEX-NET ... wireless interface that needs internet to do coding as it’s now cloud based

 

The premium kit is OTT IMO as you will I doubt use the adapter and the manual is all online anyway.

So the HEX+CAN is the one to go for,  Thanks Gizmo.

If you want to use it on older cars as well. If not, just get the micro CAN.
