Have you tied looking at part 5N0035554G, at first glance it appears to be lightning to mdi, not sure if it'll be compatible with your car/phone though.

That could work, just be easier for Bluetooth and still be able to access my phone then rather than it being in the compartment, have you used this yourself?

I haven't, mostly as I haven't got MDI fitted or an iPhone ;-)

For my Octavia, I went down the OEM route and fitted a kit with a genuine BT module to get full integration with the car.

Are you just looking for music streaming or a hands free kit as well? The adaptor you posted will probably be OK for the former and it at least claims to be good for skipping tracks etc.

I've been looking at that one off amazon but it's a steep price, has anyone tried any? Do they work well etc?

I have an iPhone 6 which is annoying because there's no lightning adapter for mdi

I have a lightening mdi adaptor got it from VW when my dad worked there out of his company car :) but can confirm this works il have to get a part number when I get into my car next. But I use BT audio through the head unit.

I just want to use it for music not too bothered about hands free
