OEM brake disc & pads - Rear

Featured Replies

Anyone know who supplies OEM discs and pads for a 2012 VRS

size of disc is 272 by 10

Quoted £120 inc delivery, but for pagid discs and pads around £88 from ECP?

Are they as good as OEM?

Thanks

I just got Pagid fitted (front disks and pads) and they are still bedding in but seem fine. I had to take the 272mm rears back and get the 282mm. I also just got a new set of rear calipers fitted last night with the rear disks and pads. Collecting car tomorrow so will see what it's like with a full set of Pagid.

why did you take the 272's back?

272 seems a bit small. Are you 100% sure thats what you currently have fitted?

Rear disc size on the octavia vrs is a knightmare as each place you look at will tell you different. EBC even told me to buy petrol discs as the ones they listed for my diesel vrs were wrong and it was skoda who gave them the wrong info

got info from skoda. Also checked in service book code is KT, which shows 272 on ECP

i will measure them to double check

thanks

also check the sticker under the boot floor

I have just done mine and they were 272.  The original discs and pads were BOSCH.  Pagid are just as good. Try carparts4less.co.uk they are the sister site to ECP.

pagid all round no complaints. discs have anti corrosion coating too. just make sure you use ceratec on moving parts to ensure everything moves as it should to get best performance.

thanks chaps

Pagid discs & pads fitted front & rear on my vrs & no complaints from me,fronts have been on 2 years now & rears just over a year.

carparts4less will definately be cheaper than ecp. dont pay for better delivery as mine came next day via ups.mine was 160 all in for front and rear discs and pads 312/282mm (superceeded the old 286mm originals to stop rusty lip forming on edge of rear discs) setup. The 282mm rear discs werent listed on cp4less site so quick phonecall confirmed they did do them but didnt show when i searched by car reg.

I had Pagid all round on the VRS, no problems. Indy thought they were good as well.

Skoda wanted £100 per disc to supply only when I called them.

I have selected pagid rear disc for PR no KT, which is a 272 x10 disc, and also a set of pagid pads for PR no KT, but when checking out, I get this message:

This part will not fit the vehicle which you currently have selected.
Please ensure correct fitment by selecting a car from the menu below.

Any ideas why?

i got this message when i put in the part no for 282mm rear discs. But when I phoned through to cp4less they confirmed they were indeed the right discs. Sometimes you cant always go by their website. A phonecall usually saves alot of agro and even if they give you the part no. you may get the message you experienced but at least you know you are adding the right thing to your basket

Cheers for that. I will give them a call tomorrow

Make sure you get 12mm rear discs and not 10mm. When I Ordered my discs, it was a joke what some places were listing. I ended up buying Lucas discs in the end due to price and the dimensions were exactly what is listed OE.

why did you take the 272's back?

They were the wrong size. Should have been 282mm.

The 282mmx12mm pagid rear discs are part no. 104442268. The pagid pads to go with those are part no. 101441178. Part numbers will work across either ecp or cp4less. Dont forget discount code on cp4less when you spend over 75 pound you get 10 pound off and over 100 pound you get 15 pound off. Using codes either CP10LESS or CP15LESS depending what you spend.
