'GREEN CAR REPORTS'

It's a free subscription with daily reports such as today's one about FedEx purchasing 'more'

'diesel burning turbine, range extended, battery powered, delivery trucks'.

If you're interested in such 'nerdy' stuff like me, check it out.

Fuel cell

Battery

Petrol

Diesel

CNG/Propane/LNG and anything else you can imagine

It's all covered.

Then there is the Graphene factor which faces the challenge of mass production/handling but with the prospect of becoming the absolute game changer for the battery powered vehicle.

The System BMW Trailed just not so long ago where you leased a vehicle through a plan sounded good to me.

A BMW DriveNow type Scheme.  But not only for in Cities.

You would lease the likes of a i3, and that is your Daily Drive,

Or Companies can for Company Drivers & Business Users,

if you need a bigger car for a Longer Journey you take your car to Depot and drop it off

and collect a Big Car if required, and if you arrive at a City you can collect an Electric Car, or a Scooter, Push Bike etc.

All in the Finance & Lease Payments, Service & Maintenance & Parking.

The cars in areas where Winter Tyres were required would have those ready available etc.

Maybe this is the Scheme the Volkswagen Group will need to introduce,

there are cars parked all over the Country & various Countries unsold / up for sale, and these are already financed by someone,

the Corporation, the banks, or the Dealerships financed by the banks.

It's the beginning of the end of 'driving' as we've known it, in the sense of having the freedom to indulge ourselves by practicing a skill, we will soon be deprived of, with the inevitable automation of everything, in the name of safety.

You know that it is not the end of anything,

there are still Vintage and Classic Cars & Vehicles on the road and many Politicians are car enthusiasts.

Old & Older cars and old technology will likely outlast the more modern vehicles that are Electricity Dependent.

Just like the Good Old Diesel Engines that are needed in many world regions.

The Best 4x4's, pickups and Motorbikes in the World must be what the Taliban or ISIS is using.

So that will be Toyotas & Hondas or Honda copies.

If you want to get some place go in a Land Rover,

if you want to go and get back home again go in a Toyota!

We'll end up in chained bubbles with radar controlling lane guidance, braking, parking and I'm thinking they'll ban 'incompatible' vehicles accept on closed roads for spectators to witness the 'good Ol' days'.......the 'drivers'(?) will be able to continue their computer games as well......that generation will think that's an advance also.

I'll have a V8 chained bubble thanks :)
