Really Stupid Question

Featured Replies

Guys

I have the Superb II with the boot, not hatch nor estate.

Can anyone explain why I still have the strings on the parcel shelf and the pegs on the pillars on to which they are attached.

Opening the boot has no impact on the parcel shelf so why have the string?

I can imagine that they would be used for the hatch

You can open the boot as a hatch as well as a saloon type boot. I think there's a separate button above the number plate but not totally sure as I have the estate.

Blooming marvelous!! It was my only slight criticism of the car that it wasn't a hatch back!! Wonderful.

I can now see why the nets could be used if you were just using the back compartment.

Wonderful, thank you!!!

Hope you've found the hidden umbrella too?

Ooooh, umbrella!!!!!!!????????

You will only have the umbrella if it's an SE or above. The S doesn't get it.

Crestfallen!! ;-)

You will only have the umbrella if it's an SE or above, and is a brand new car. For every second hand car the previous owner will have nicked it before trade in..

Corrected for you  :S

has anyone actually used theirs , got it wet , dried it and put it back ? I'd forgotten all bout mine until now

I use mine a lot. Still like new and with the tag attached. It's a quick dryer and packs so small as to be easily carried.

Mines still unused with tag on in polythene

Yes, used mine a few times. Very useful when stuck a few times. It's actually decent quality and not a gimmick. Dries quick too and folds away easy enough.
