Hill hold control - Is this a must ?

Featured Replies

So is there a way to enable hill hold assist if it's not on the car to start with?

I've enabled Hill Hold Control with VCDS on our MKII and I have to say its excellent and wouldn't be without it now.

On the mk2, I wish I had tried to get that one done. My thinking is if you managed it in the S II then it should be easy on the new one.

Surely this option is a simple VCDS coding as it uses the ABS system which comes as standard. Any VCDS Guru's out there able to answer?

On Skoda Rapid it is possible to enable HHA (Controller 03(ABS)-->Coding 07-->long code helper-->Byte 16-->Bit 0 enable)

It depends on ABS controller...mine is
Part No SW: 6R0 614 517 BD HW: 6R0 614 517 BD
Component: EBC 460 ESP H08 0004

on stock car it was disabled ;)
