If so, a slider pin kit will fix it.

The bolt on no 1 snapped. Do I need to buy the slider pin kit or can I just buy the bolt? And where? Many thanks

If you can get the broken bit of bolt out a genuine set of pads come with new bolts.

I see. The brake pads I bought didn't come with bolts. Can you tell me the torque setting of the no.1 bolt?

Bolt looks like part number WHT003250, available from Skoda dealerships or TPS.

M8 x 22mm long according to this.

You shouldn't drive the car with this bolt missing IMO.

Can you tell me the torque setting of the no.1 bolt?

35 Nm  (26 lbf ft)
