Front and rear lights

Well let's put it this way, the service manager didn't give me a price but the way he sucked his teeth, he didn't have to. Plus he said it would play havoc with the electrical system and cause endless error messages. Oh well, if you don't ask, you'll never know.

Oh, you mean swapping bulbs?  A dealer definitely won't do that on a new car if the bulbs are not OE parts.  A full swap out of a halogen for a xenon on the other hand would cost thousands, between new headlamps, levelling system (to suspension), modifications to electrics etc.  A dealer once forgot to order xenons on an Octavia for me a few years back (as a factory option). They ended up ordering another new car from the factory waited twelve weeks and honoured the deal on my trade-in (with 10k miles extra on the clock!) rather than retrofitting the xenons. Needless to say they are petrified now when I'm ordering a car in case they miss an option :)

Mine has never missed anything but they were not surprised when I wanted to see the order on screen and check every last detail! Point being if then a mistake was made, the dealership wouldn't be to blame, rather than not knowing.

Try upgrading Xenon to LED then. BMW want £6,000 just for the lamp units on the X6, and it's not even a major change as everything else is already on the car.

Skoda aren't even allowed to offer them within VAG because every other type in their stables has them (according to my Dealer).

Halogen to xenon is s no go due to differences in the core vehicle wiring looms and harness. It is down to current and voltage differences according to a right car developer geek from Ford who I happen to know.

Xenon to LED though I do not know.
