We have done the tuning but now have a switching problem to sort out on this ECU. We hope to complete this and dyno later this week.

have Revo cured their "does not revert to stock after demo" issues yet or is it still a "comedy low power" map?

Either that or he means AmD, the people he works for

been "lurking" on SeathEnthusiats and there's a masisve thread going on there about the REVO revert to standard issue. Looks like it's being looked into now.

We did Jonathans Fabia today.

181 bhp and 326 lbft torque.

Very impressive.

Techie- sorry for asking what now looks like a dumb question. I was trying to think of tuners in Northampton as per your sig.

I have now sorted the switching issues we had on the Fabia vrs but will not be releasing the code just yet due to performance (lack of) and smoking issues with the car. I notice elsewhere the thoughts on the exhaust design and this was my worry when I first saw the car. Most PD cars to date have had downturned tailpipes that force the typical diesel smog downwards, unfortunately the Fabia is straight exit pipes and due to the body design the smoke from this seems to sit around the rear window. I could break the rear veiw mirror off every one I tuned but I do not think I would get away with this for too long;)

Seriously tho we will continue with the tuning (and choking) and keep you informed.

Please note that my diesel car jesting is just that, I pay for my own fuel and would love a diesel right now.

As far as im aware Jon's Fabia didnt have any bad smoke issues. We often fit normal exit Milltek exhausts using a four motion rear valance so the exhaust exits normally when we remap the PD and havent had any complaints that im aware of as yet.

But I will make a note to check for sure next one we do.
