hello from the West Mids, England

Hi everyone.

im considering getting a Fabia VRS - the older model, 2003-2007 i believe?

went to look at one yesterday but they wouldnt let me test drive it so i walked away. it did seem okay but id never buy a car i could drive first.

so anyway i thought id leave it until the end of this month until payday and get a cleaner one from a more respectable garage.

at the moment i had a VW Passat PD130 estate - brilliant car and brilliant engine, i just dont need the space of an estate. as the fabia and passat share the same engine i think a fabia would be perfect.

i have a budget of around £2500 - £3000 and from the looks of things i should be able to pick up a nice one in that price range.
