Handsfree units for LG G4 smartphone

I drive a september 2011 Superb 2.0 174 bhp Elegance.

From when i first bought the car i have been using a

Lumia 625 phone which i used handsfree without any problems.

I have now started using a LG G4 phone which will not connect

to use handsfree.

Can anyone tell me if i need to update my bluetooth unit to

be able to use my new phone or is it possibly another problem.
