*Pic request* Petrol blue anyone?

Featured Replies

Hi all going to order at 11 changing my order from rosso brunello to petrol blue but dealer doesn't have any models in this color.

Anyone with this color?

Also anyone with beige alcantra?

Carrs Skoda Bridgwater have a Petrol Blue with beige interior in their showroom. It's an L&K but it really does look 'Superb'.

I've only seen this colour on an Octavia Scout, but that was enough to confirm it wasn't a colour for me. If Skoda finance hadn't offered metallic paints as a FOC option I'd have been paying the small premium to have Red instead - which in hindsight i wish I'd done anyway to stand out from the sea of business/quartz grey models that are proving popular.

The petrol blue in the superb looks lovely especially combined with beige interior. I've seen it in the flesh at Mitchell's Ellesmere port. I ordered my se l exec in petrol blue after seeing it

It's one of those colours that tends to change slightly under different light conditions. There is a very slight green tint through it in real life. It has been discussed in here a few times (see below) and there are some real life pics here too. You really need to see it on the flesh though. Personally I think it looks well but having had Rosso myself I would take Rosso over it. You can't beat Rosso with cream leather IMO. It is just has that distinctive upmarket look but that's just me. Colours are personal.

Well will be going back tomorrow to complete the order.

Still little confused on the colours I guess. Rosso in the showroom looked nice but outside didn't really fancy it.

The petrol blue still hit and miss but can't see any other other.

Business grey looks good but as stated before looks like there will be a sea of them when production catches up with demand.

Thanks all for your advice and putting me in the right direction

Rosso Brunello and Petrol Blue are pretty much equal in my books... they look amazing when clean and on a bright day, but they can also look equally as drab when dirty and on a dull day.

I ordered Business Grey but I agree it’s going to be the Race Blue of the vRS... i.e. nearly every other Superb will be that colour, but we can’t ALL be wrong... can we??  :D
