Rolling Road-Wish Me Luck!

Featured Replies

Im lucky enough to live just round the corner from the genius that is Dave Walker of Emerald fame and car mag CCC.

Well later today Im giving my new VRS Octavia a power run to get some base figures for comparison before I start uprating the engine,

at the moment im after, praying for at least 180bhp.

If im not overcome with embarassment I will update you later, I will also ask about a possible rolling road day for those interested (subject to ColinD approval)

Fingers crossed!

Where are you getting the power run done? A lot of rolling roads read quite generously so I'm sure you'll easily manage 180 bhp :D

Chris

Chris what power is your Mondeo running? My Zetec S TDCi was 170 bhp on the Top Gear Performance rollers with just a Dragon digital tuning box and a k&n filter?

Also what other mods have you done? I fitted the ST220 Facia, recaro interior, 60mm lowered and small boot spoiler (not chavish), also retro-fit HID xenons.

Emerald are based in Watton, Norfolk-on the Norwich road.

Yes TaviaRS, DW is a very clever guy and he is even quite prepared to talk to lesser mortals like me.
