Emissions scandal - now on 2016 diesels

Featured Replies

If you look at the very latest brochure only the Superb 2.0TDI 150PS 4X4 does definitely not meet the published CO2 levels.

All the 1.6TDI 120PS (manual, DSG & Greenline) and the 2.0TDI 190PS (manual), may not meet the published CO2 levels.

All other variations appear to be OK.

  • I suspect the ACT feature of these affected engines operates a higher proportion of the time during the official test than can ever be achieved on the road so it will be MPG and CO2 that suffer. I've

  • And VW sales have increased in the USA since the "scandal". So they obviously don't give a Castlemaine XXXX either.

  • Emailed my dealer today and asked if 2.0l tdi was affected in my new superb and his reply was they have just had a list from skoda and the only engine affect is the 1.4tsi in the new superb.

Well I've just put the vin of my 190bhp manual in and.............

Got a big green tick for Nox

Just had an email from my dealer regarding co2 emissions,

" we received notification from Skoda that after a detailed review they are happy to confirm that all data relating to co2 emissions is correct and does not require any modification ."

They will be sending out a letter to all customers to clarify this.

Well that is good news.

Great news for you,

What engine did you order. Diesel or petrol.

The list also has the 120 PS engine with a "7F" box so I think the "F" must refer to the auto/DSG and the "A" refers to the manual.  It's not exactly clear though.  And there do seem to be two lists doing the rounds, one with the 1.4 petrol engines and one with these diesels.

Isn't F for front wheel drive and A for all wheel drive.

The number refers to the number of gears.

So the 2.0tdi 150 is affected? Brilliant, I hope they add a few extra horses in the remap
