Hello everyone.

I'm returning to Skoda after a decade away with VW & Audis.

I last owned a 2003 Octavia 1.9Tdi Elegance, moved to a VW Touran in 2005 (still have this as my wife still drives it). Since 2006 had 3 Audi A4 Avants on 3 yr leases.

Decided on a change this year & am about to take delivery of an Octavia VRS estate.....diesel. Spec includes DSG, Canton, pana roof & Amundsen nav. Never owned an auto before.

Gone for white. Main rationale for the change is the bang per buck factor verses Audi. Really looking forward to driving the car having done much research & test driving before making the decision. Anyway, like the forum & that's my intro.
