I can confirm the L & K does have the piano black inserts with logo

I think you're right about the door strips for an indoor.( I'd assued it was an outdoor.)

The heated windscreen would be of use for your location but I'd bet you'd never use the self park.

The door strips on the indoor are body colour.

We have a 2015 SE Elegance 110 Tdi 'indoor' and are very happy with it, but at the same price to have our car plus a few extras or a 150 Tdi L&K 4x4 I would take the L&K every time in spite of the dubious leather colour.

I too was dubious about the L&K leather until it arrived. Any photos and brochures give it the appearance of being far lighter than it really is. In reality, mine at least, it is very dark brown. Looks good with jungle green to my eyes.

Not on the latest models they aren't!

I have the SE L which is the replacement for the Elegance and as I said before on another thread the brochure says it comes with body coloured door strips but it doesn't come with any at all, to differentiate it even more from the Outdoor. The web-site says no door strips and that is right.

Sorry - didn't realise that. A backward step by Skoda! In town is where you need those strips!

As said the official line is to differentiate more between the normal Yeti and Outdoor but I think a cost saving may have been part of the decision!

In practice they don't offer that much protection (due to the shape of other car's doors) but they do break up the expanse of paint.

... and will tow a caravan with a 1300kg laden weight....

May I recommend that you check, then double-check, each car's towing rating for your particular 'van?

A 1300kg caravan is within the limits of the 110bhp, and well within the capabilities of the 150.

Braked towing weights for the Yeti are:

1.2 tsi: 1200kg

1.4 tsi: 1300kg

1.8 tsi 4x4: 1800kg

1.6 tdi: 1400kg

2.0 tdi 110: 1500kg

2.0 tdi 110 4x4: 1800kg

2.0 tdi 140 4x4: 2000kg

2.0 tdi 150 4x4: 2100kg

2.0 tdi 170 4x4: 2100kg

DSG or Manual makes no difference. :)

I've found the sat nav really good and glad I specced it.

Door strips - not now it doesn't unless you go for the Outdoor!  Brochure says it comes with body coloured door strips but the web-site says it doesn't, and mine didn't!

Had my Greenline II for 2 years now.  Sat Nav is good, BUT, had a nasty surprise when I thought updates were free for 3 years only to find out they are >£200 a year.  So driving around some recently built roads, I found myself crossing fields.  Some of the speed signs too are outdated now.

Alternative non built in ones are available at half the update price with free life time maps etc.

Saying all that, that YETI is fab in all other respects. Notwithstanding the outcome of the eventual EU5 engine tweak.
