Can anyone tell me where I can find a website that decodes vin's for 2015 Yeti. I want to check month of manufacture. Thanks

Ask your Skoda dealer nicely to print off the Vehicle Data for your car. This shows loads of useful information including date of production and also lists the 200+ option codes (Pr numbers) for your car.

Only model year is encoded directly in the VIN, so you'll need the car data as DGW suggests.

If your Skoda dealer won't be kind enough to supply it gratis, you can obtain it yourself via erWin, for a modest fee (~£6). Once you've registered and paid for your hour's access, there's a wealth of other maintenance/service/wiring/ educational material available to download while you're at it.

We have a manufactured date (mm/yyyy) at the base of the B pillar, driver's side......it's probably to conform to ADRs though.

well, err,I don't know/understand, used tp's crib, and my adventure produced late '12-'13 has a date indicated as 2009, will have a look later at the 'b' pillar info for a date!

There are component production dates all over the place, particularly under the bonnet. For example our TSI motor has a bar coded label on the inter-cooler cover, which also states the time and date of production completion. other items like the lights have labels with week and year dates e.g. 11/15 (second week of March this year).

So what have you got for the tenth digit, our Spaceback has an E indicating MY14, with many component production dates covering March last year   :wonder:
