skoda fabia 1.2 greenline MPG

Featured Replies

Hello,

I have just purchased a 2013 fabia greenline. The garage claimed that the car can do 95mpg. Is this true?

Welcome to the forum.

Enjoy your new car.

Maybe worth asking in the Fabia 2 Section.

You should have had the member of staff at the Dealership put that in writing for you.

Maybe Hypermiling will get 95 miles from 4.546 litres of fuel,

or EU Testing has achieved it indoors.

Not sure many can achieve that out in the real world, but maybe someone will be along that has.

Given I have managed 68mpg out of my 2ltr Octavia today, which books at around 49mpg combined, then yes I reckon it is possible in the right hands.

In a word no -I used to have one. The best I managed was about 80mpg on a long drive (london to Lincoln) - indicated 86.5mpg.

Real world driving you're probably looking at High 60's average day to day driving.

They are nice cars and have a very decent level of kit -all the best with it.
