Bolero to Colombus

Featured Replies

Evening guys

Looking at swapping my units over as I want built in satnav and other goodies that come with the bolero.. my questions are do I need a new bluetooth module?are the wiring the same and what GPS antenna to I need

Thanks Kelby

The wiring on both is the same. I was able to use the same Bluetooth module when I switched from Bolero to Columbus. I think the GPS antenna is widely available (mine came with the unit) and I've put it behind the glovebox.

You'll need a new trim as well as the Bolero & Columbus are different shapes.

So is the gps antenna part of the normal aerial or separate unit again? I thought wiring was the same just not sure whether my Bluetooth unit will also work

Bluetooth willwork the same, as long as it's all coded when you finish the install. The GPS antenna is seperate, and unless your car had sat nav when it left the factory then you won't have a GPS antenna. They're about a fiver off ebay.

kjaybVrs - the bolero doesn't have sat nav. You'd need the Columbus for that.
