Hunter alignment

Featured Replies

So ive found a place that is quoting £30, which compared to some others quoting £70, then more depending on the adjustment required.

Now as £30 seems cheap, im guessing i need to be savy as to what they should be checking, and what i should be asking :p

1- is the fabia vrs non adjustable on the back end?

anyone suggestions as to what i should be checking ..

My local hunter place isn't much more for simple 2wd none adjustable cars but increases the more adjustment is available.

On the fabia you can only do front toe. Everything else is fixed. So really it's only tracking but always nice to see what everything else is set too when you get your print out.

Place local to me is 36 an axle so seems about right for just front end. Back end isn't adjustable without shims as far as I know so should just be front that is checked and adjusted.

Kwikfit do it all in for 44.99 if you book online - and find one you can you trust :-)

Ive just come back from having it done, i will post results if i can manage a photo from my phone.

I've just had my Hunter alignment done yesterday! As John (Faboka) says, the car is not really adjustable - back end is fixed and the front ball joints and struts are not slotted. Hence you only need the 2 wheel alignment done to sort the tie rods out. Mine cost £30. It's usually £40 for the full alignment IIRC.
