brake rubbing noise

Featured Replies

Took car into service department today and it seem the brake rubbing noise is normal although it didn't sound normal to me at all. I have done 1500 miles which to me is enough miles for brakes to bed in , in my experience anyway. But hay.

Sorry if I am wrong, but did you post earlier about this and I answered saying that you might be hearing what has been said to be the "quiet beep beep beep ----- " of the EVAP solenoid purging?  If so, wife's Polo 1.2TSI 110PS still does that it starts after 2 miles running, or maybe the time the engine used to take to warm up in summer in 2 miles.

Ah, I was right, it was you that asked about brake noise last month or so, I try to add to a thread as it makes more sense in as much as others can see if a problem has been resolved or is still "open".
