Clutch Life

Featured Replies

Just a quick one.

Has anyone had a clutch changed and at what mileage?

I've got 90k miles on mine and i think it's getting near to needing a change as the pedal goes almost all the way down before the clutch dis-engages.

Advice greatfully recieved

thanks

Normal wear or a fault?

Isn't that more a sign of master/slave cylinder problems or it needs bleeding?

My brothers Yeti clutch was replaced at 110,000miles but I think that was the Dual mass flywheel primarily.

In my experience of old style clutches they don't engage/disengage till high up.......sounds more like bleeding......does it 'pump up' to a higher take-up point?

My Yeti covered 140,000 miles on the original clutch
