not bad going for one visit lol

One wasn't available from Skoda Uk in March 2005 when I needed to buy one. I understand that the one Skoda (and probably VAG UK) used to sell didn't meet the new FSA regulations and they hadn't got their act tohether to get an acceptable one ready in time to meet the regulations. I have no idea if one is available now. I went the Warranty Direct route since the price and cover seemed pretty comprehensive.

Have you had to use Warranty Direct for any work yet? I think, from what I have read that they are OK. When my Golf reached 100,000 miles I investigated Warranty Direct cover, but they would only insure the car up to 110,000 miles so I never went with them.

No, touch wood. But it good to know that I don't need to worry about a comprehensive selection of expensive to replace components failing - including the aircon compressor and turbo. I have opted for cover which includes having repairs carried out by a main dealer.

Jesus, how sad am I........mine is over a year old now, and it's clocked up just 7500 miles:eek: I wouldn't mind, my journey to work is 20 miles a day and its used at the weekends:confused:

I was told by my Skoda dealer before purchasing my car that you can extend it when the 3 year period is up.

I wonder if they use a third party company then? I made the assumption it was the Skoda UK warranty
