looking for left side drivetrain on my mk1 fabia, dont no weather to buy a new part or go to a scrap yard... sorry if this subject is irrilivent to this part of the forum.... as am a new member :sweat:

Driveshaft you mean?

I fitted one of theirs at the start of the year, and I think I'm tracing a fault I'm experiencing back to the inner CV on it.

 

Although it has done 20-odd k in that time.

I'd imagine 9 out of 10 genuine scrapyard driveshafts will last longer than cheap new aftermarket items.

Ye, but too be fair it has a 2 year warranty.

thanks alot for your responses....!! i went scrapyard yesterday got a steal at 25 quid but when he took it offf it fell apart! so now going to have wait two weeks to buy a new part as no scraphead round gorleston on sea area seams to stock anything fabia related....
