Scotch guard for seats ?

Featured Replies

Hi guys

I'm new to this site just waiting to pick up a 2010 octavia vrs estate with a DSG box in grey on friday

Just a quick one as the seats are the cream and black colour has anyone used any sort of spray to protect them like you would on a pair of suede boots

Any other tips for my new car would be appreciated

Thanks all in advance

Dan

I never bothered and I had a VRS for 7yr.

Normal upholstery cleaner is pretty good for bringing the Alcantara back to life.

I used Megs leather treatment on the bolsters but they still wore on the drivers side.

The seats on the MkII vRS were a poor design.

The only cream suede section is right between your legs! Who thought that was a good idea?

Any salesman / company car owner eating his or her lunch behind the wheel will know that they don't stay cream coloured for long.

These work a treat...

That's the stuff Metblackrat. Cracking drop of gear.

Cheap option works a treat for me - non fragrance baby wipes!!!

Thanks all for your answers the cream sections on the seats aren't in the best place butting finding one with just black leather was hard so went for the normal vrs seats
