Turbo compressor housing screws

Featured Replies

Glad to see it done the trick, Its usualy the case of needing more tools :D

Imagine working in a garage everyday doing similar jobs constantly! Thats why people end up spending £6,000 on a snap-on toolbox alone!

Ive got a full set of single hex spanners now and a set of brake pipe spanners, either would have done the trick.

Ha that's problem I've a few tools I've literally used once! For one job! Ha

Have you managed to strip the turbo down and inspect it then?

are you planning on just cleaning up the VNT side of things?

I've done nothing more with it other than have a look at the compressor wheel side of things. It looks in decent nick although I have no idea how many miles its done. The actuator moves freely and there is hardly any play in the core.

If I'm honest I wasn't going to strip it. I was just going to run it.
