Hi all

I have a 2015 RS TSI 6sp manual.

Looking to add a cold air intake. I know they don't do much performance wise but I actually want to do it for induction noise. I feel you can't really hear the turbo enough.

I have come across the Injen intake which you can get delivered from US for about $450AUD

My question is, the intake is for a MK7 GTI. I know the RS TSI and GTI share the same engine so is there any reason it wouldn't fit? Are the intakes on both cars identical?

Just want to be sure before I pull the trigger and order it.

Yes engine is same to golf gti and ocu rs,but there is usa models and euro models engine and there is little difference.us models have system called SAI and euro models havent,there is intake tube a hole and you must plug it to something if you havent SAI system in you ocu!

Hmmm well I ordered the Injen intake from an American Ebay dealer just before..

Do I need to buy some adaptor then? I hope I can buy the adaptor by itself :-/!!!

There are also other brands out there from more common makers (more chance of feed back).

Might be worth researching them before you pull the trigger

Just trying to source where I can get s SAI vacuum plug as like "Supe" said our EU models dont have a SAI hose so its just gonna be an open hole sucking in air otherwise...

Did you have any luck with that plug Yagadan? I'm thinking of doing same thing..

As an aside I put in the APR turbo muffler delete recently which is a cheap and easy alternative for increasing the turbo sound. Minimal but noticeable increase in sound and hp. Relatively easy mod for beginners. 150 US from USP motorsports.
