I'm at the one that's about 10 minutes away? Looked at the one near there but it was a further distance to track which means less time for sleep

Looks the closest which equals even more sleep as I know I wont be getting much sleep as I'd be too excited.

That's the one you want. It's 10 mins away from Brands Hatch

I wouldnt hold this as gospel though, Brands seems to have its own microcosm for the weather. Can be lovely and sunshining one moment then think fog the next.

Thank you for booking a place on our General Car track day at Brands Hatch on Monday 1^st February.

 

For your information:

                  

• Signing on is at 7.30am in Race services. Please arrive in plenty of time and ensure you have your DVLA licence and the indemnity form (available on the day) completed ready to show the signing on team. You will be issued a wrist band and car sticker. Access is through the tunnel to the centre paddock. Large transporters can access this area across the circuit at Paddock hill prior to sign-on times and exit at the end of the event.
• Groups of extra drivers/passengers must gain approval and pre book.
• Passengers will be signed on at 10:00 in Race services and require a wrist band. Minimum age is 14 at this circuit and one per car while on circuit.
• Your vehicle will need to be noise tested at the far end of the garages. The maximum noise limit for the event is 105db static 92db drive by.
• Briefing will start at 8.30am in the Media Centre. All drivers must attend the safety briefing irrespective of the number of previous track days participated in.
• The sighting laps commence on circuit at 9:00am. Please ensure you have made your way into the pit lane prior to this to avoid delays.
• A map of important areas features below for your reference along with the circuit address and information link.

·        To avoid inner paddock congestion, the Inner paddock parking is for drivers only. Those visiting should park on the outside of the start finish straight by the grand stands and use the foot tunnel opposite race control. Drivers - Please do not park behind or in front of other drivers reserved garages.

Weather is looking a little more better at the moment.  At least not going to be a downpour all day

Citigos aren't slow on the corners, they actually corner rather well.

And straights are easy to overtake on.

I'm taking a variety of tools, hoping to touch none of them

 

2 spare road wheels.  

 

Only photo card license.  Pretty sure paper is now N/A

 

Covered limbs, but its not summer so doubt anyone will be rocking shorts and tshirts

I'll have VCDS if anyone has any issues.

I may not be running around now, last minute.com problem has reared it's head. Hopefully it's nothing but see what happens. I'll still turn up for the obligatory laughs, drinks, food and passenger rides of course.
