Hehe you will be the one turning hard left at the end of Cooper Straight then !!!!!

I wouldn't mind a slight detour onto the bigger circuit tho...if I was to "accidently" take that turn. Lol

  • Ria's first open pit lane track day. She and her blue Fabia went excellently. I wish the same could be said for my instruction !

  • Yes, thanks for coming all.  It was a good day that MSV put on. The TDT guys seemed very sensible and we got a well priced full day at Brands Hatch with relatively small numbers of car issues. The c

Accidentally hitting the wall they put in place may dampen your spirits somewhat  :notme:  :wall:

And a black flag for the day :D

In the next week or so I "may" be thinking of giving up my spot, although I still plan to come along for the crack.  It's quite possible my car has a serious gearchange over-run (throttle hitting redline when off throttle and on clutch on fast WOT changes) problem which would frankly quite annoy me on track.  I can drive around it, but it would annoy me.

Hoping in the first couple of weeks in Jan, the problem can be pinpointed. :)

Will still be on track for this... would like to have my car fully mended by then.

Only needs a door, a wing, all new underbody plastics and a new bumper. And a wheel refurb...

Looks like its stripped and ready for track. Lol

Same here. Weeks leading up to this is very important.

Need few bits and bobs sorted myself.

Il post a pic up later of what I've been scavenging over the past few months.

Which hotel have people booked for this?

Premier Inn has Maidstone or Swanley?

I've used them for bigger items.  UPS usually has good options. :)

I also use myhermes or parcel2go as both of them are usually good too.

Woohoo!

Still need to service my car. Hopefully fit new oil cooler. New track tires are on order and should be fitted by next week :)

Yes but all the track tyres, slicks, won't do a world of good when it's raining. Just saying. :D Unless you have a spare set of wets as well.

In my experience, even semi slicks give overall better track performance than road tyres. :)  Still need care but I was impressed with grip from my 595RSR at a damp oulton.
