Seen that driving through leeds a couple of times,

 

I had a google about it aswell and couldn't find anything about a passat van

One off I reckon but a good looker VW missed that one ! And lowered also

I knew about the Mk3 and 4 golf vans from my travels in Ireland....

Yeah mk4 golf van was/is prertyy common over here.

Never seen a passat van though...

maybe somebody saw a mk1 octy van and thought hey.. good idea but could be improved..

Years ago I toyed with the idea of it on my old B5, had a play on photoshop (not the best effort but it still made me want to do it)

Seems a roomster 1.2 is classed as an "up to 7.5Ton van/truck" if you rip the back seats out.
