Child seats in a Roomster.

Featured Replies

The Roomster looks ideal for my daughters next car but there could be a problem. She needs to fit three child seats in the rear, is that possible or just not enough room. Have read the centre seat is narrow, has anyone managed three across?

I think you'll struggle to be honest. The middle seat is narrow.

+1 on the middle seat being too small

we only have one child but last week I picked my friends child up from nursery and used the seat out of our 2nd car but there is no way a 3rd seat would fit

Unless one is older go go in the front then you may have look elsewhere

Apart from that the roomster is a perfect family car in terms if access etc

Thanks for the comments, I guessed it maybe a no go re three seats. A pity really as this looks the ideal solution for her, plenty load space, not a massive size for her to drive, she currently is used to a Picanto. I think back to looking at Scenics and Picasso.

Forget the French stuff, Stick with the VAG group and go with a Touran, 3 Individual seats in the middle row can easy take 3 child seats, Plus you got 2 more in the boot if needed. Winner!!!

I've heard it's possible to fit 3 by putting the outer ones right back, thus staggering them slightly. Try before you buy though.

^^^^ Yes that thought did cross my mind.

Apart from investigating that option above the front runner would be a Pug 308 SW, the one with the individual removable rear seats. I don't like French cars though but it's not for me. :p
