I'm looking to join the skoda world again, I've been looking for a while, I'm stuck between a couple of cars, one being a 2.0 tdi scout, and the other being a vrs tdi estate. I'm generally after an estate, but unsure between the two models at what would be a wiser decision.

I hope you can give me some guidance :-)

try testing both cars as they are very different cars,

the vrs will be more sporty all round, harder suspension,more power,

the scout will have more grip ,and a softer ride ,

try seeing whats available and what optional extras you want as well vrs,s can be very low spec before 08 reg,

both cars have a dpf as well ,

As above, you need to decide what's more important to you, the taughter handling and extra performance of the vRS or the 4wd and softer ride of the Scout (though this can be remapped). Both are great cars and do many of the same things well as they're both Octavias but they also have different functions. I'm very fortunate and have both because I can't decide between them.
